re-entering my hayday era + sober arc

hayday by feeble little horse turned three years old today (actually two days ago, i’m just late to writing this post) — it’s an unbelievable record that they wrote in an even more unbelievably short amount of time, a feat worth celebrating for years to come.

it was what introduced me to the band, and the era that moved them to sign with the label that i used to work at – the followup effort girl with fish convinced me it was a good move to quit and manage them instead. jury’s still out on the intelligence of that decision, but never once have i regretted it.

to celebrate the birthday, the band is unlocking a demo from the vault –

and releasing a brand spanking new anniversary variant of the vinyl, pressed by the lovely folks (and my former / forever family) at saddle creek. it comes with a brand new 18×24 insert designed by lydia.

ain’t she pretty?
